The challenge
Pulse's customers were drowning in charts. Onboarding took three weeks, support tickets about "where is my report" piled up, and the team could not ship new features without breaking old screens.
What we did
We interviewed twenty customers, mapped the five questions they ask every day, and redesigned the dashboard around them. A shared component library and design tokens let the engineers ship new views in days, not sprints.
The result
Time to first insight fell from 3 weeks to 4 days. Weekly active usage rose 62% in the first quarter, and report-related support tickets dropped by more than a third.
