A few honest tips for looking (and feeling) like yourselves in front of the camera.

Give yourselves five quiet minutes. The best photographs of the day almost never happen during the posed portraits — they happen in the five minutes right before, when you're waiting for everyone to be ready and you finally get to just look at each other.

Move, don't pose. Walk, dance, whisper something to each other. A photograph of motion always reads as more honest than a held smile.

Trust your photographer's eye. If we ask you to do something that feels a little silly, it's usually because we already know what it'll look like in the frame.
